Mountains of Activity

"Take to the outdoors and experience the beauty"

There are many walks you can take in Cahersiveen and the surrounding area. The Beentee Loop walk is a 9km trek that takes you to the top of the Beentee mountain where you will get spectacular scenery overlooking Cahersiveen and Valentia.

Just outside Cahersiveen is Cnoc na dTobar which stands at 690 metres high. It has been a sacred pilgrim site since prehistoric and medieval times. It is now an official pilgrim path and can be enjoyed by the experienced and not so experienced.
