Féile Skellig Six18 2021 will launch Saturday 23rd October at 6.30pm and will host a gala concert at Skellig Six18 distillery with the theme of “Liberation” in association with the Daniel O’Connell School which will be taking place in Cahersiveen/Derrynane over that same weekend. The gala concert of music and song which was contemporary to O’Connell will be led by Cahersiveen's own international tenor, Gavan Ring. He will be joined by Irish musicians including a quartet comprising of Irish Chamber Orchestra violinist and cellist Siún Milne and Aoife Nic Athlaoich, RTÉ Concert Orchestra violinist and violist Liz Leonard and Siúbhan Ní Ghríofa, star soprano Nicola Ring and leading Irish pianist Fiachra Garvey.
