The Glow Up Ireland finale finally airs tonight on RTE2 at 9.30 pm, but who will be crowned the winner? Will it be Cahersiveen's Niall, well we hope so :) Its now down to the final three.
Glow Up takes inspiration from the UK show, and being its first Irish season it's been a learning curve for everyone involved – especially the MUAs. Niall, who had accumulated 10.7m likes on TikTok even before his appearance on Glow Up Ireland, has been one of the stars of the show.
In the show, Niall was really inspired by James Mac and Keilidh Cashell who both appeared as guest judges. James, who goes by the name JMac was a winner of the BBC’s version of the show, after which he gained 200k followers on Instagram practically overnight. If Niall ever gets to create his own makeup brand he says it will ‘fairytale’ with beautiful colours. His dream face to makeup would be Maura Higgins but with a Halloween theme!
"I have to watch each episode twice, once behind a pillow", Michael says in a Zoom roundtable chat before the final episode, which airs tonight. "So I'm kind of like, oh, God, I can't believe they're showing this and then a second time to actually see what happened."
"You don't realise the cameras are filming you at certain points", Niall says, adding: "You're more nervous about what they're going to show than anything."
